This market
A mailing address that does not match the map.
The Las Vegas valley is split between a handful of incorporated cities and a majority of places that are not incorporated at all: Paradise, Spring Valley, Sunrise Manor, Enterprise and Winchester are Clark County places, not municipalities. Saying where you are is not a form-filling detail here: there are addresses that read "Las Vegas" and sit outside the City of Las Vegas, and names everybody uses daily that match no entity on the administrative map.
A business on the Strip writes "Las Vegas" on its address and sits in Paradise. One in Summerlin uses a name that is not a city at all, but a planned community. One in Sunrise Manor gives a perfectly valid address for a place with no city hall to call. None of that is anybody's mistake: it is how the county is put together, and it is why the question of where you are has to be answered twice here — once for people, once for forms.
The second thing that keeps coming up is language. In this valley the same search arrives in Spanish or in English depending on the neighborhood, and often inside the same business: whoever picks up the phone switches without thinking about it, while the site and the profile are usually built in one language only. That is where people get left out with nobody noticing.

Henderson and North Las Vegas are incorporated cities with city halls of their own. Paradise, Spring Valley, Sunrise Manor, Enterprise, Winchester and Whitney are not, and they are still the names people use to say where they live. Any of those businesses gets the same work; what changes from one to the next is which name your customers type, and that is the call worth settling before a line of the site or the profile gets written.

You are in Austin. Does working with Nevada change anything?
Not for the work: it happens online, with reviews over video call and in writing, exactly as it would for a business down the street. What does change is the map we have to learn, which is why these pages talk about Clark County and not Texas.
Half my customers come in Spanish and half in English. How is that handled?
With both versions genuinely built, not one translated on top of the other. On the site that means two addresses, one per language. A Google profile only has one set of fields, so they get written with both ways of naming what you do in mind, and every review is answered in the language it arrived in.
My business is in Henderson, not Las Vegas.
Works the same. Henderson is a city with a name of its own and the people who live there search by typing it, so it gets named as such on the site and in the listing. The same goes for North Las Vegas, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Sunrise Manor, Paradise, Winchester or Whitney.
